Redbird MX2 Flight Simulator

The Redbird MX2 Flight Simulator gives you the impressive benefits of a Redbird Advanced Aviation Training Device inside our new Aviation Learning Center.

The MX2 comes equipped with our innovative, 3-axis, electric motion platform where trainees can receive high caliber, single-pilot training with full motion simulation. This one-of-a-kind system provides effective motion feedback for yaw, pitch, and roll.

The Redbird MX2 is a great primary training platform, thanks in large part to its expansive visual displays. With a world-wide terrain database to support the 200 degree visuals, the MX2 lets trainees experience the view from the cockpit before they ever leave the ground.

The MX2 is uniquely capable of bringing high quality, full-motion training to life, and delivers compact, realistic, and effective training for even the most demanding pilot! The MX2’s electric motion platform and wrap-around visual offer a training environment so realistic, that the FAA has approved it as an AATD, allowing future pilots to log the training they receive in the MX2.

Simulator Configurations

We currently fly the Beechcraft Bonanza or the Cessna 182 with G1000 Avionics. Simulator may be reserved for flight training purposes only. A Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) is not required to reserve and fly the MX2 but to receive a certified logbook entry for hours flown, students are required to bring their own CFI.
